Bahamas 2012

Hi Su,

We loved loved loved Atlantis. Only problem was the excessive weight gain made possible by the meal plan. :-)  The meal plan was a great idea. Plentiful (and quite good) buffets at breakfast and dinner along with a few other options. I could see a couple wanting the “nicer” meal plans for the nicer places, but for a family, the lowest cost meal plan was great.

The Sea Lion behind the scenes was fun and walking with sharks was spectacular. Great place. Highly recommend. Thanks for all your help.

St Lucia honeymoon 2012

Hi Su!

We can’t stop raving about you and the wonderful honeymoon you planned for us!

I ended up making one of those cute photo album books to show off our wonderful honeymoon!  What a great honeymoon that was!!!!  I wish I was back there in St. Lucia almost every day :) I keep trying to convince Andrew to go on another trip to the Caribbean…. we are hoping maybe for our one year anniversary in mid-April!  I know you are knee-deep in wedding planning right now, but I just wanted you to know that you gave us such a beautiful gift- a gift that both Andrew and I will remember for a lifetime.  Thank you for being so thoughtful and good at what you do!

Cape Town, Kruger National Park, Victoria Falls & Botswana 2012

Hi Su:  I am still in a state of wonder at the trip to Cape Town, Sabi Sabi, Victoria Falls and Chobe.  It was beyond my wildest expectation and something I will remember until the day I pass from this earth.  I am putting together a slide show on my iPad and already have watched it more times than I can count.  I sent a preview to the relatives and they are in a high state of envy.

I have already sent a number of friends your name and email address.  They wanted to know who put this fantastic trip together.

I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.  You made the trip of a lifetime happen and gave Steph and I terrific memories.  Your attention to detail and knowledge of the area made the trip not only wonderful but out of this world.

Cruising after our Africa trip

Hi Su!

So nice to hear from you! You must have just been leaving for your cruise as we were arriving back.

We were on Liberty of the Seas out of Fort Lauderdale. We had such a great time with the kids!

At this moment I’m back at work and you’re probably relaxing by the pool with a good book  :-)

We’re all still talking about our amazing trip to Africa!!! I’d love to do it again.

Cancun, Mexico

Always like to update you. The transport to the hotel went well. They were very attentive and got us out of the airport quickly. There were many other people waiting but our ‘private’ transport  whisked us off first. The driver was very nice.

I also asked for an upgrade at the hotel and received a suite which I think is their best room and is very roomy and nice. We are on the 7th floor of an 8 story (yay). Regards.

Planning for Spain 2012

I had always arranged my family’s travel until I began planning a 10 day trip to Spain.  I was overwhelmed with choices and needed some expert advice. Su was a pleasure to work with.  She’s knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient.  Her recommendations were excellent.  She was able to find hotels and excursions that matched our interests.  We had a fabulous trip to Spain thanks to Su at Lazy Lizard! We will definitely recommend her to our friends and use her services again.

European adventures 2012

I am just so excited for our European adventures!! Just a quick note to thank you so much for planning our trip!! You are wonderful!! Can’t wait to share stories and photos upon our return!!!

Our journey was very smooth… Connections in Toronto and Frankfurt went well and the girls (and Charlie) are expert travelers!! The Classic Hotel Vien is very clean, nice and so close to the train station.

We LOVED Vienna!!! Hotel was perfect…onto Graz this morning!!! In 2 days we really experienced Vienna…So much to share upon our return!!!

Southern Africa road tour 2012

……….we are in Malawi at Lake Malawi. The beach is just gorgeous!

We had an incredible elephant encounter along the Zambezi during our canoe trip in Zimbabwe. We had stopped for a “bushy-bushy”, ie  a pee-break, when a big bull elephant came right out of the bushes towards us, stopped to drink then decided he needed to do a mock charge!  Our hearts were pounding as we scrambled out of the way. Otherwise, we are seeing incredible wildlife, and hundreds of birds.

Africa 2011

Su, what a trip!!!!!! It was everything and more than I ever thought of. Great weather, good food, the Oyster Box was FABULOUS!!!!!!! Then our guide was young and cute and very knowledgeable. It was just AWESOME> Karolyn from Town & Country was excellent and the gentleman who picked us up and drove us to Richard’s Bay was great as well. I will call you Monday or Tuesday. We had an AMAZING time. The Resort and the people were sooooo nice! I liked that everything was all inclusive and that we didn’t even have to worry about getting a taxi to and from the airport. Africa 2011

We had the BEST time!!! Thank you again for planning such an amazing trip that ran so smoothly! Funny thing, the only times we had problems were in the USA lol! We did not avoid the hurricane, JKF was evacuating when we landed so we drove to DC to catch a flight. It was pretty scary! Home safe now and enjoying our fond memories through photos. Truly an AMAZING experience at the Lion Encounter in Zimbabwe. Thanks for planning such a great trip Su!

Morocco

Thank you Su, we had a wonderful time in Morocco. We absolutely LOVED our tour guide and driver – his care of us, his interest and knowledge of his country and his gracious attitude. I think he absolutely made the whole experience for us. I think we all agree the stop to Volubilis – the ancient ruins, was terrific and very unique. We enjoyed the Riads – especially the one in Fez and also enjoyed the one in Marrakech. Loved our day trip to Essouria and especially the VERY FRESH seafood lunch, one of the best we had ever enjoyed! While I appreciated the beauty of the drive through the Atlas Mountains to Ourzazate – for me it was a very long bus ride for not much punch! However, I do agree that the desert is the essence of the country and not to be missed.

Wine Country, USA 2011

My trip to Sonoma/Napa California was flawless. When I emailed Su my top choice of where to stay, she emailed me several other resorts for comparison, just so I was completely informed before making a final decision. I’m glad she did because the one I finally picked offered a greater value and very special amenities! Her response time was prompt and efficient. She gave us awesome ideas for places to visit and dine. The only thing missing was someone to do the packing!

Two days after my return, Su assisted me in booking a trip for my family to Turks and Caicos. One, two, three, and it’s done! She is exceedingly knowledgeable, and, therefore, brought value and enthusiasm to our trip.

The hotel was beautiful…we were upgraded to a beach view so that was great. The room was very modern and clean looking. The outside was full of trees and hidden areas to sit and relax along w\hammocks too! I would def. stay there again. We did a lot of walking and site seeing. Look forward to seeing you soon.

Disney World 2010

Thank you for everything. We had a magical time in FL. The hotel worked out well – good breakfast and conveniently located. We swam all 3 days and enjoyed the hot tub. South Africa and Italy trip 2010

Hello, I got my itinerary and I’ve got to say I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to be excited. When I opened it up I finally got EXCITED! Thank you. You did all the things for me that I would normally do. I always set up an itinerary for us and compile all my information in one place. This time, I seriously wouldn’t have been able to and SOOOO appreciated your expertise, patience and company through many of our decisions. I especially enjoyed all the little extras you stuck in. Africa – photographic safari 2009

The trip was great and we had a really good time! I took lots of pictures (about 1800 or so). Many of our friends have been asking us to show them the pictures of our trip to Africa and so I have compiled a DVD video of my photos. I’ve reduced the 1841 pictures that I took down to less than 500 and I have African music playing in the background. It really came out very well. I also put together a small album of about 40 pix for portability.

Cruising 2009

In March of 2009 we cruised the Eastern Caribbean and went on four excursions Su recommended. In August we went on a land tour and cruise of Alaska with friends from Colorado, and in 2010 all four of us took a trip to Oberammergau, Germany, to attend the Passion Play given only once every 10 years.

We both like the way she communicates. Not only does she ask the right questions to get us to hone in on what our goals and expectations are for our vacations, but she thoroughly investigates all the options available and gets back to us in a timely manner. One of our favorite things Su was able to book was our excursion to see whales in Icy Strait Point, Alaska. The company she used was reputable and very successful in finding whales, otter, sea lions and bald eagles!

Hawaii – babymoon vacation

The trip was incredible! It was so hard to come back and really hard to adjust to work this morning. Maui was definitely my favorite. There was nothing I would change. Scott LOVED the car and I think that really helped to have such a great experience. There is just something to riding in a convertible with perfect weather in a beautiful place.

Thank you so much for your help with everything. As soon as we get our heads back on straight we would love to meet up and share our pictures with you. I think we have some great ones!!!
