Scotland

Each and every golfer is guaranteed warm, friendly Scottish hospitality and is greeted by glorious scenery and challenging courses brimful with character.  Take in a world class Championship or reach for your clubs and play the links. From Carnoustie, arguably the toughest course of all, to Kings Barns, the “Pebble Beach of Scotland” to The Old Course at St Andrews, a true pilgrimage to the “Home of Golf”.

Tackle the links first played in the early 1400’s, cross the 700 year old Swilcan Bridge and just soak up the history as you approach the 18th backed by the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse.

Ireland

Experience iconic golf courses, many dating back to the 1800’s, sprinkled round the ‘Emerald Isle’ a country the size of Indiana.

Ballybunion, Lahinch, Tralee, Waterville, Doonbeg – Royal County Down, The K-Club, Portmarnock.

Tom Watson said after playing Ballybunion for the first time, “A man would think that the game of golf originated here.” Rated one of the top golf courses in the world, Ballybunion is Irish Links golf. Bold but still subtle, grand without feeling pretentious, it is an ancient course where every inch still feels relevant.

Southern Africa

Golf the Winelands of the Cape, wander the fairways of the Garden Route and the Sunshine Coast, take in the lush green courses of Kwazulu-Natal and venture into wild Safari country.

Attempt the Extreme 19th at The Legend Golf and Safari Resort in Limpopo Province South Africa, where a million rand awaits a hole-in-one. Dubbed the highest (1,300ft) and the longest Par-3 in the world, access is only by helicopter!

Visit Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, one of the seven natural wonders of the world and experience the Gary Player designed Elephant Hills Golf Course. Elephants and Warthogs are just some of the challenges on the fairways and Crocodiles bring a new meaning to the term ‘water hazard’!

We wanted to thank you for planning such a wonderful trip for us. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was both relaxing and informational. We especially loved Florence and the hotel. It was so beautifully appointed and had wonderful amenities. The wine tasting was great. We had a great time at the Wine Estate with a tour and another tasting. We had an amazing time in Rome as well. Our hotel in Rome provided great service. Both of our tour guides were amazing! Thank you again!

We can’t stop raving about you and the wonderful honeymoon you planned for us! I ended up making one of those cute photo album books to show off our wonderful honeymoon! What a great honeymoon that was!!!! I wish I was back there in St. Lucia almost every day 🙂 I keep trying to convince Andrew to go on another trip to the Caribbean…. we are hoping maybe for our one year anniversary in mid-April! We had an amazing experience during our MBA Global Immersion course to Southern Africa (Zambia, Botswana and South Africa). Working with Keith and Lazy Lizard Travel was pleasant and everything was very well organized. Our group of students had the best comments and raved how smoothly everything worked. “Best Everrr!” were the daily comments heard throughout the trip which led us from a safari into big company’s boardrooms to the top of Table Mountain and more. I agree, best ever!
We had a great, great time in all phases of the trip – sixteen flights total including the sky safari, were all on time and there was no lost luggage. We enjoyed all the lodges, camps, safaris, and tours. We were treated royally at all the stops!

It truly was a magical vacation, and the wedding itself was absolutely lovely! The location and quality time with friends and family was exactly what we had envisioned. Thank you (and your wonderful daughter) for all your planning, logistics, and dedication you put toward making the destination wedding a reality. Any family or friends that were hesitant about the idea in the beginning were converts by the end (including the father of the bride)!
Our family recently had a wonderful trip to three different countries in Africa thanks in large part to the planning done by Lazy Lizard Travel. We worked primarily with Su Holshausen to organize our vacation. She has a tremendous knowledge of the area and gave us many useful recommendations about where to stay and what activities to do while we were there. She also listened to us regarding the type of vacation that our family would enjoy and then arranged the trip accordingly. We did not have any problems with our travel arrangements (airlines, transfers, hotels and excursions) and it was good to know that we would be well taken care of on each leg of our journey. She prepared us well for what to expect and then gave us any necessary contact information in case we had any problems or questions while we were away. We would definitely recommend Lazy Lizard Travel for anyone who wants to visit Africa.
It was beautiful there! Just loved it. I was able to go diving in Praslin and it was wonderful. We adored Praslin and that hotel! We had a wonderful time! The beaches were gorgeous! I could see myself visiting again, hopefully soon. Thank you for everything!
